Job Description: 

As part of IONA 's global engineering team, this position includes following 
responsibilities in software product development: 
1. Contributes to the delivery of high quality product components or completed 
products to agreed deadlines. 
2. Implements component tests and carries out test runs. 
3. Documents own work, including test reports and functional specifications. 
4. Participates in code reviews, identifying risks, and escalating issues when 
necessary. 
5. Identifies processes and areas in which products can be improved, and makes the 
necessary changes once agreed with team leader. 
6. Provides timely and useful information to the project leader to assist with 
detailed project planning. 


Job Requirements: 
1. At least 4 years working experiences with bachelor degree or at least 2 years 
working experiences with master degree in software engineering, preferably with 
experiences in middleware technologies such as CORBA or J2EE. 
2. Experienced in Java programming and Eclipse IDE. Familiar with Eclipse plug-in 
development is considered a plus. Any previous open source contribution experiences 
are also a plus. 
3. Experiences in Web service technologies and standards, such as XML, XML Schema,
SOAP,and WSDL. 
4. Excellent hands-on knowledge of software engineering processes, especially agile
development process. Good working knowledge of other software engineering processes. 
5. Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system. 
6. Excellent communication skills with great teamwork spirit. 
7. Excellent organizing and planning skills with proactive attitude. 
8. Excellent English skill, be able to write and speak English well. 


Job Title: Technical Specialist/Local Consultant 

Job Description:                  
As part of IONA 's Beijng Field Technical team, this position includes following 
responsibilities:
1. Leveraging relationships within organizations to solve technical hurdles and foster
awareness of our products and solutions. 
2. Working with the Inside and Outside Sales Representatives on joint account calls,
webinars and account planning 
3. Responding to customer RFIs and RFPs for FRS products & services. 
4. Installing, configuring and testing our solution at customer's facilities during 
Proof of Concepts .
5. Interfacing with various customers at both a business and a technical level and 
propose viable solutions and system architecture in real time during customer meetings .
6. Share knowledge and best practices with other Sales Engineers to advance the sales of 
our products and technologies .
7. Be the technical and product expert and act as a senior level consultant and provide 
education and training to customers, partners and internal teams. 

Job Requirements: 
1. At least 3 years working experiences in software industry, with experiences in 
middleware technologies such as CORBA, SOA andJ2EE. 
2. Excellent hands-on knowledge of Java, C++, CORBA programming and Eclipse IDE .
3. Experiences in Web service technologies and standards, such as XML, XML Schema, 
SOAP,and WSDL. 
4. In-depth knowledge of the IT enviroment of at least one vertical industry including
Telecomunications, Finance and Insurance, or Power Grid. 
5. hands-on experience in software engineering or solution development is a plus.
6. Very good knowledge of Windows and Unix operating system. 
7. Excellent communication skills with great teamwork spirit. 
8. Excellent organizing and planning skills with proactive attitude. 
9. Excellent English skill, be able to write and speak English well.
